Terms of use
Beta terms, version 2026-10-beta-3. Last updated 29 October 2026.
SAM is run by SME Market Technologies Limited, Dubai ("we"). Using SAM, joining the waiting list or taking part in the beta means you accept these terms and the privacy page. They are written to be read; if something is unclear, ask SAM or email hello@conciergesam.com.
1. Who can use SAM
You must be 18 or over and able to enter a contract. One account per person, on the WhatsApp number or Telegram account you register; SAM takes that account as you, so keep your phone and those apps secure and tell us if you think someone else has got in. Your access is yours alone and cannot be passed on.
2. What SAM is
SAM is an AI assistant you message. It researches, finds, compares, drafts, makes files, sets reminders, uses websites and your own accounts on them when you ask, and, within the limits below, pays for things. It is software: it can misread a page, pick the wrong option, or be wrong in a confident sentence. Read what it gives you before you rely on it, and check anything that matters, such as a flight date or a legal deadline. SAM is not a lawyer, doctor, accountant or financial adviser, and nothing it says is professional advice.
3. Your instructions
When you ask for something, you authorise SAM to take the reasonable steps that request needs, and you confirm you have the right to give it the information and access involved. SAM asks when a detail is missing, shows you anything that costs money or commits you before it does it, and stops rather than guesses when the goal, the website or the outcome is unclear. Say "stop" and a running task ends; a payment already submitted cannot be pulled back mid-way. What you ask SAM to do is your responsibility, including what it does inside accounts you have let it use.
4. Accounts you let SAM use
To order or pay on your own account at a shop or biller, SAM signs in as you with the one-time code the site sends you and you pass on. SAM never asks for, and will not keep, a password. The signed-in session stays in a browser profile reserved for you so you are not asked again; "log me out of" a site forgets it. You are responsible for what you ask SAM to do on those accounts, and the site's own terms still apply to you.
5. How SAM charges
Free. Register on the website and start; no card needed. A monthly usage allowance that resets on the 1st; when you reach it, SAM tells you and offers the upgrade. When SAM pays for something on your behalf, a 2% SAM fee is added and shown on the approval card before you say yes.
Member, $9.99 a month. Unlimited usage within fair use, and no SAM fee on purchases. Billed to the card you add; the first charge is when you add it, then monthly. Cancel any time by telling SAM: your membership runs to the end of the period you have paid for and is not charged again, and you are back on the free plan. Membership fees are not refunded for part of a month, except where the law says otherwise.
Limits. Fair use means SAM may slow or decline work that costs us more than a person could reasonably use; usage and spending limits apply during the beta and we will tell you when you are near one.
6. Purchases you approve
SAM never buys or books anything without an explicit yes from you in chat. Before you answer, SAM shows you the merchant, what you are buying, the exact total and any fee. No answer within 15 minutes means no. The card you add goes to Stripe on a private page, never into chat.
When you say yes, SAM places a hold on your card for that amount. SAM then pays the merchant with SAM's own card. Once the merchant confirms, SAM charges your card for the amount paid plus any fee shown, never more than the hold. If the purchase fails, is declined or is cancelled before payment, the hold is released and you are not charged. If the outcome is unclear, SAM does not retry on its own; it tells you, and nothing is charged until a merchant confirmation exists.
SAM is not the seller. The merchant sells you the item or service, under its own terms, prices, taxes, delivery and refund rules; SAM's charge to you is a reimbursement of what SAM paid plus any fee. Whether a merchant accepts an order, delivers it or refunds it is the merchant's call; SAM will chase a refund for you if you ask, and passes on what it gets back, but cannot promise one. SAM may decline a purchase above its limits, and does not pay for flights, hotels or car hire: for those, SAM finds the option and sends you the link to book yourself. During the beta, paying with SAM's card may not be switched on; until it is, SAM takes a purchase to checkout and sends you the link, and nothing is charged by SAM.
Your card is stored by Stripe, our payment processor. SAM's chat and AI never see your card number, and merchants never receive it. Charges appear on your statement from SME Market Technologies Limited. If a charge looks wrong, tell SAM: every approval, hold and charge is recorded and can be traced to the yes it came from.
7. Messages
SAM messages you about your own tasks and nothing else: replies, questions, approval cards, reminders you set, and your beta invite. On WhatsApp and Telegram your own carrier or data charges apply. Say "human" and a person replies in the same chat.
8. What you may not do
Do not use SAM for anything illegal, to defraud anyone, to pay with a card or use an account that is not yours or that you are not allowed to use, to harass, deceive or endanger anyone, to buy or do what the law or the merchant forbids, to attack, probe or overload SAM or the sites it uses, to share one account between people, or to treat what SAM produces as the sole basis for a decision that seriously affects someone else. We may pause or end access to investigate or stop misuse.
9. Your content, our software
What you send SAM stays yours. You give us a licence to process it to run SAM for you, keep it secure, meet our legal duties and improve SAM, as the privacy page describes. What SAM makes for you is yours to use; similar outputs may be produced for other people. SAM's software, design, name and marks are ours.
10. Other people's services
SAM works with websites, merchants, billers, Stripe, Meta, Telegram and other services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, outages, decisions or how they treat your account. What we do promise: SAM reports what actually happened, does not repeat an action whose result is uncertain, and keeps a record you can check.
11. Beta
SAM is in private beta. Features may be incomplete, limited, paused or withdrawn; a place on the waiting list is not a promise of access, timing, pricing or availability; usage and spending limits apply. We may change these terms; you will be asked to agree again before a change applies to you.
12. No promises beyond these
SAM is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any task, booking, purchase or delivery will succeed. Nothing here removes rights the law gives you that cannot be waived.
13. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or lost opportunities. Our total liability to you for anything arising from SAM is capped at the greater of what you paid SAM in the twelve months before the claim or AED 500. This cap does not apply where the law forbids it, including for death, personal injury, fraud or gross negligence.
14. Ending things
You can stop any time: tell SAM "delete my account". We may suspend or end your access to manage risk, protect other people, comply with law, deal with misuse or run the beta, and will say why where we can. Sections 6, 9, 12, 13 and 15 survive the end of your account.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Talk to us first: most things can be put right in a message. If not, disputes go to the courts in Dubai with jurisdiction over SME Market Technologies Limited.
